OutBound Links Advantages and Disadvantages
-->Outbound link are links placed in you website or blog. These links when clicked will point you to another website or a page of a website.
There are advantages and disadvantages of outbound link. If you have a couple of websites, then is a good idea to link these sites together. Not totally placing each link on site wide, but I prefer a link embedded in the article. This is because when using a site wide link, you might suspected of selling links as mentioned in the previous post entitled “Sitewide Link Could be a Suspect”. Nobody wants this to happen, you should be careful in using a site wide links this days.
Unless you have a site with good pagerank and you want to share that PR to your none or low PR site then site wide link is a good way to let that PR juice flow within the other site. Since this is your site, it is good to place as outbound link within your other site. But again, I prefer a link in the article(s).
In addition, you are sharing you pagerank to all the outbound links placed within your website. Well, it is of course your discretion and responsibility on what to be done with your site.
I am also using outbound links. In fact, I have this product review blog with lots of outbound links in the articles. I really need to do it because of the possible gain I will receive in the future. Yes, i used outbound link for additional profits. This is actually one of the best ways to generate another flow of profit for you and I think, the best way of utilizing outbound links.
If the link is pointing to another web page or website with out any connection with your niche or yourself, then that link is useless. As much as possible a visitor should stay on the site or roam around within the site and might click some of the ads there. A sure profit for you isn’t it?
There are lots of websites using outbound links as another stream of income and my product review blog is just only an example on how to utilize outbound link into profitable ways.
