Sitewide Link Could Be a Suspect
-->Site wide link is being done through link exchange. Both website owners exchanging links have agreed to how their links could be placed and be seen within the website and most of the time, both parties agreed to place the links sitewide - the link will be seen through the website what ever page a visitor will go.
Though SEO s are still on the debate whether a website is selling link which is already unacceptable to the big “G” , there’s no yet factual information that websites with bunch of site wide link could be accused by the big “G” of selling links. Unless of course if you are really selling and unless your competitors will report it that you are selling link then, for sure, google will investigate your websites. Hopefully your competitor will not do this, but if it does, this is another story.
Well, their’s only one way to avoid being suspected of selling links. Try not to minimize your sitewide links. Though this is a good web promotion services, you do;t want to be banned or your website to be penalized by google, isn’t it?
On the other hand, I did not yet read or informed about yahoo on their stand about sitewide links. In fact, my sites that had been place sitewide are still appearing on yahoo site explorer. Hopefully Yahoo will not do the same with Google.
Sitewide link is actually a good way of promoting your websites, its not only that the PR juice will ooze through your website which will uplift the pr of your site, their’s a possibility of getting visitors from that website you exchange link with too.
